What this website collects, why, and what happens to a request for quotation once you send it.
Requests for quotation
When you submit the quote request form, the information you enter — including any file you attach — is stored by us and sent to our sales team so that we can reply. Commercial detail in a request is treated as confidential and is not shared with third-party advertising or analytics services.
Analytics
This site records aggregate usage — which pages are read, which products are viewed, which language is chosen — on our own server, without cookies and without building a profile of you.
If you accept analytics cookies, we also use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<ID>, kept for up to two years, so we can see how visits develop over time. The legal basis is your consent. Google may process the data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Until you accept, no Google Analytics cookies are set and Google receives only cookieless page-view signals without an identifier. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings button at the bottom of every page.
Page addresses are sent to analytics without their query parameters, so no specification you enter into the quote form is sent to an analytics service.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Brødr. Remø AS, organisation number 937 600 119, Fiskerstrandvegen 168, 6035 Fiskerstrand, Norway. We process personal data under the Norwegian Personal Data Act, which implements the GDPR.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it. You can ask us to correct it if it is wrong, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, or to provide it in a portable form. You can object to processing we carry out on the basis of a legitimate interest. Write to info@remoas.com and we will answer.
Complaints
If you believe we have handled your personal data incorrectly, you may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet). We would prefer you raise it with us first, so we can put it right.
