Certificate
HACCP and establishment approval
Approval of the Fiskerstrand establishment for fish and fishery products, operating under a HACCP-based food safety plan and sanitation programme.
What this certification is
Every establishment handling fish for export from Norway operates under approval from the Norwegian Food Safety Authority and a HACCP-based food safety plan. The approval number identifies the plant on the health certificates issued for each consignment.
What it does not cover
The establishment approval number identifies our plant on export health certificates. It is the basis for export documentation to markets that require an approved establishment, but it is not itself a market-access guarantee: destination markets maintain their own approved-establishment lists and their own certificate models.
The establishment approval number appears on health certificates issued per consignment by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority.
How this works in practice
- Quality and food safety — the HACCP-based plan and the temperature and shelf-life standards we hold product to.
- Traceability — the data points that attach to a lot, and the documents that prove them.
- All certificates — every certificate we hold, with its number, scope and validity.
